A Melbourne café icon, Secret Grounds is the très chic destination for “aesthetic” brunches and Insta worthy coffee. The new pretty boy in town we helped launch Secret Grounds back in 2021, and cemented them as the happening new spot, that was on everybody’s must try list. A specialised social media campaign, launch plan, ice-cold content and a wondrous website were the building blocks to their lasting success.

Our journey with Secret Grounds started with a strategy as juicy as their Smoked Salmon Benedict. Sitting down with the owners, we delved into the heart of the brand, understanding what made Secret Grounds uniquely irresistible. With this information, we crafted a launch plan that stirred anticipation, teasing the Doncaster community with glimpses of the stunning interior and tantalising menu. Paid ads helped to skyrocket their followers to over 1500 in under two weeks – the Secret Grounds community was officially here.

THE RECIPE

Suddenly, Secret Grounds became the place to be, with locals and out-of-towners alike desperate to snag a spot at the coolest café in Melbourne. Since then, we have used their socials as a visual storyboard, a tale of a café that not only looks amazing (and believe me it does) but has a homey feel to it, a sense of community that’s palpable. To support the launch of their café expansion, we created cinematic, story telling content that matched the luxurious branding that is Secret Grounds.
